Book Bloggers and Authors Online Conference

What are you doing August 6 and 7? If you are a blogger, an author or a reader, join us online at the Book Bloggers and Authors Online Conference next week on Friday and Saturday. I had a blast on a couple of panels back in March and will be participating again this time. If you'd like the opportunity to learn more about a variety of blogging topics this is the place to be. Terry Kate of the Romance in the Back Seat blog is the host and driving force behind the conference. I don't know how she does it.

I've scooped the registration information  and tentative panel schedule and posted it here, but be sure to check the official conference blog for updates and additional information. Hope to hear some of you there. In particular I plan on attending the panel my arch nemesis Marta Acosta is hosting. Lock and load !

The registration for the Book Bloggers and Authors Online Conference August 6 and 7 is $15. You will receive the invitation to attend the private Ning on August 1st. Bloggers, Reviewers, Authors, and aspiring Authors are all welcome. Problems? Contact Terry Kate at romanceinthebackseat @ gmail . com

  1. I wish I could attend but I'm getting ready to move so unless the conference comes with empty boxes and packing tape...well, let's just say that Flyboy might not be too happy with me:)

Out of curiosity, and because me and technology are currently like oil and water, what is a Ning?

  2. Hi Anna. A Ning is another social networking platform for hosting and building communities. Think of it as a website that hosts multiple member blogs, has forums, postings and more. You can visit their main web site at www.ning.com. They have been offering Ning sites for free for years but apparently July is the last month before they convert to paid service only. Sigh.

  3. Im so excited about the conference and so cool that you'll join me in the International Book Blogger panel =D I've been a fan of your blog for a long time!

  4. Hi Doug

Wasn't able to attend the first, and I might be out of town for this one... grr!

really was looking forward to it...

  5. Larissa I am looking forward to it as well and love to make new blogging acquaintances. We'll have ourselves some fun :)

Dottie well they do archive the sessions so at least you'll be able to listen in later to the ones that mean the most to you.

  6. I can't seem to find it anywhere here and at the main blog - time zone?

The lack of time zone in the schedule suggests it's for USians only?

  7. Hi Mai just under the SCHEDULE title it mentions EST which is Eastern Standard Time or -5:00 GMT. Everyone is welcome US or otherwise.

  8. Doug,
Thanks sooo much for the mention it means so much to me and I am ecstatic to have you join us as a panelist!

See you there and I hope to be joined by more of your fans, it is a blast getting to hear the SciFi Guy talk about his favorite topics.

Thank you, thank you, thank you for your support,
    Terry Kate

For bloggers comments are like water to a man (or woman) wandering in the desert. A precious commodity. I love to hear from everyone and do my best to respond to every post.
