Cover Art - Unchained by Sharon Ashwood

Sharon Ashwood posted Unchained,  the cover to her third Dark Forgotten novel in her newsletter and on her website this week. It releases July 6. Chicks and bikes. Works for me...

Been there, slain that . . .
Ashe Carver, monster-killer, has the scars to prove it. But faced with a custody battle, she's hung up her stakes and taken a job at the public library, determined to show the courts and her ten-year-old daughter that she's as good a mother as she is a hunter.

Easier said than done. There are lovelorn vampires haunting the library, a slime demon in the shopping mall, and her new-mom sister needs a hand with her ghostbusting biz. Then, after centuries guarding a supernatural prison, Captain Reynard strides into her world like a hero from the library's Must Reads. Smokingly gorgeous, passionate and courageous to a fault, he has only weeks to live unless Ashe finds the thief who took his soul.

Ashe picks up her weapons to save the day—but not every problem can be solved with a stake. With so much tragedy in her past, Ashe fears the disaster she sees ahead—and prays she doesn't fail everyone. Again.
Memories are the hardest monsters to kill.

  1. Doug got Sharon's newsletter with this yesterday and have to say that book 3 is my favorite cover art of the series so far. I am really loving the world that Sharon Ashwood has created for us to read and this next installment in the Dark Forgotten promises to be just as interesting as the others...
    July better come fast!!!

  2. This sounds awesome.

What is it with chicks on bikes lately? Kelley Armstrong's 'Waking the Witch'. Rachel Caine's 'Unknown'. Faith Hunter's 'Skinwalker'... it's the new UF cover trend.

  3. I read the first two books in this series and wondered who the next love set up would be. I had my thoughts on it and I think I may have been on the right track. But I will have to keep an eye out for the book and see it I was right.

I am glad to see Ashe is playing a bigger part now. Thanks for sharing this cover!

  4. I like! The covers in the series are improving with each one.

For bloggers comments are like water to a man (or woman) wandering in the desert. A precious commodity. I love to hear from everyone and do my best to respond to every post.
