Cover Art Catchup

A busy week for covers and announcements. Here is a summary of some of this weeks unveilings.

First up the US/UK covers for Spy Glass by Maria V. Snyder, the third book in the series coming in September. In her newsletter Maria says -
As you can see above, both the USA (orange) and UK (purple and black) cover art for SPY GLASS are finished. They both are very different and it''s interesting to me to see how the artists translate the same book. The model on the UK cover matches how I visualized Opal in my mind. And Opal is holding a sai - so for all those who didn''t quite know what one looked like - there it is :) As for the USA one, I love the bright eye-catching colors and the crystal.
Rachel Vincent posted the final version of the cover for My Soul To Keep (June).
Yasmine Galenorn showed of the cover for Harvest Hunting with a fresh new look for Delilah (October 26).
The cover for the The Kiss Me Deadly anthology edited by Trisha Telep was released all over by many of the contributors. This is the follow-up to The Eternal Kiss anthology.

  1. I love covers thanks so much for sharing these, especially the one for the new Kiss Me Deadly Anthology, MSTK and the one for Harvest Hunting. Rachel Vincent and Yasmine Galenorn are among my top to read authors these days and there covers are so pretty.
These covers are popping up on lots of places this week....

  2. I'd have to say the cover for the US version of Spy Glass is more eye-catching.

  3. Gail Carriger's covers are *always* drool-worthy. 'Blameless' is absolutely scrumptious!

Counting down until May 30th and 'Changeless'.

  4. While they're both gorgeous, I think I like the US cover of Spyglass. Looking forward to Kiss Me Deadly.

That video ROCKED MY WORLD, and I'm looking forward to reading the Parasol Protectorate books now. :)

  5. I was just wondering what Snyder's next Glass cover looked like. Purty! The U.S. version. The UK is nice, but prefer the U.S. one.
