Giveaway - Warriors Anthology

I have an extra ARC of Warriors edited by George R.R. Martin and Gardner Dozois to giveaway to a lucky winner. Check out my review of this terrific anthology coming March 16 from Tor books here. To enter, tell us what kind of warrior you would like to be and from what time period or place. Full details at the end of the post.

  5. I love all kinds of warriors, but I'd have to say a Medieval warrior. (Funny that it was already said twice hehe). Medieval times in general are so fascinating to me. I love learning new history on medieval times.

  7. I would want to be a witch warrior in the times of Vikings. Does that even exist. But be a women though. I want people to know when I'm around and do as I say. ...or else. What a trip that would be.

    I would be a Warrior Princess, Light Fae, fighting where and when I was needed, flying throughout time. Can't you just see the royal battle armaments? LOL I have a vivid imagination.

  15. Does it have to be from our world? If so, I think I would like to be a warrior during the days of Ramses to see what it was really like.

    From a fantasy world, I would love to be a mage-warrior, like one from Raymond Feist' world. It would be incredible.

  23. I have loved the medieval times. So, I think I would love to be a warrior in this time. What kind of warrior? I was thinking with my mind but I would really love to be able to us knives or daggers, since swords would probably be to heavy for me at this time.

  24. I'm currently obsessed with the Knights Templar.. so I'd love to be a part of that so I could learn all of their secrets. I want to know what they were doing! After the big arrest on Friday the 13th.. there were very few documents and records left, and none of their treasures and finds from crusades. The History nut in me needs to know what happened!!!

  32. I'd want to be a Dúnedain Ranger, since they're sort of peacekeepers instead of aggressive warriors, but they're all the same very brave and skilled. Or one of the Rohirrim, because of the horses. :P
