About the League Series:
Hell's New Heroes

In the Ichidian Universe no one was safe. People were dragged from their homes and killed in the streets- victims of a ruthless tyrant who was bent on being the sole ruler of their entire empire. Those who opposed him and his army formed an alliance called The League which fell under the leadership of the Quorum.

The Quorum realized that the best way to keep trouble from starting was to cut it off at its knees. So a separate group of soldiers was needed, The League Assassins. Highly trained and highly valued, they are the backbone of the government. But not even the League is immune to corruption...

Welcome to a world where corrupt assassination politics dominate everything and everyone- because sometimes the cure really is worse than the illness. It's kill or be killed. You're either the hunter or the prey.

But there are those who will protect you. Men and women who come from the streets and from bloodied backgrounds of survival. You just have to decide is they're better than the ones chasing you...

Or worse.

Sarcastic, loyal, highly trained and lethal, these men and women are the next generation of heroes. They know how to laugh in the face of madness and danger, and to endure the worst The League and their enemies can hurl at them.

Most of all, they know to fight and protect. Welcome to the madness...

The Quorum realized that the best way to keep trouble from starting was to cut it off at its knees. So a separate group of soldiers was needed, The League Assassins. Highly trained and highly valued, they are the backbone of the government. But not even the League is immune to corruption...

Command Assassin Nykyrian Quikiades was born and trained to slaughter. Refusing to be a pawn, he turned his back on the League and has been hunted by them ever since. Though many have tried, none can kill him. Now his assignment is to protect Kiara Zamir, a woman whose father's political alliance has made her a target. She wants nothing to do with politics, yet she is forced to submit to protection or die.

And as her world becomes even deadlier, Kiara must entrust her life to the same kind of beast who once killed her mother and left her for dead. Old enemies and new threaten them both and the only way they can survive is to overcome their suspicions and learn to trust in the very ones who threaten them most-- each other.

In a universe where assassins make the law, everyone lives in fear- except for Syn. Born of an illicit scandal that once rocked a dynasty, he always knew how to survive on the bloodthirsty streets. But that was then, and the future is now.

He takes no prisoners...

Syn was raised as a tech-thief until his livelihood uncovered a truth that could end his life. He tried to destroy the evidence and has been on the run ever since. Now trained as an assassin, he allows no one to threaten him. Ever. He is the darkness that swallows his enemies whole.

She offers no escape...

Shahara Dagan is the best bounty hunter in the universe. When Syn comes back on the radar, she's the only one who can bring him to justice. There's only one problem: Syn is a close family friend who's helped out her brother countless times. Is Syn's protection worth the risk? The only hope Shahara has is to find the evidence he buried long ago.

Now it's kill or be killed- and they, the predators, have just become the hunted.

In the Ichidian Universe, the League and its ruthless assassins continue to keep rule. But at what cost? Welcome back to the future- and a whole new world.

He is an outlaw who offers no quarter...

Devyn Kell spent his life in service to the League until he learned of the double dealing and backstabbing that was costing innocent people their lives. Refusing to play those politics, he became a Runner- someone who makes sure planets get the weapons, medicine and supplies they need to survive. May the gods have mercy on any who get in his way, because he definitely won't.

She is on the run from a past that could end her life...

Alix Garran is a woman on the run from a past she can't escape. Signing on to work for Devyn as a System's Engineer, she finds a cause she can fight for- and a man she can respect. But as Alix's past catches up to her, and Devyn's old enemies turn lethal, they have to fight together- or fall alone.

  1. just found ur site, im a follower now

  2. My favorite SK book is ACHERON, hands down! I devoured that book and it is on my favorite 2009 reads-list. I never had the "thing" for Acheron most Kenyon fan had, until I read his book.

  3. I haven't read any of the series as yet.

If I get lucky this can be my start !

  4. I loved the League short story that you wrote! Livia and Adron are two of my favorite characters of yours. The way they save each other is wonderful!

I've also really loved Vane & Bride and their story. Bride is an actual person...not a skinny supermodel and Vane is seriously sexy.

  5. I haven't read any yet but I would love to.
Please enter my name in your draw.

  6. I love the Dark-Hunter series, Dance With the Devil is probably my favorite- Zarek is a great character!

  7. Fantasy Lover is my favorite so far. I've only read three, so that may change soon!

  8. My favorite Sherrilyn Kenyon series is the Dark-Hunter series, specifically the book Acheron. A brutally brilliant tale.

  9. My favorite book would have to be Dance With The Devil since it's the first book of hers that got me addicted to her Dark Hunter series!

  10. My favorite SK series is the Dark-Hunters and my favorite book is "Dance with the Devil" because of Zarek and his tortured past!

I haven't read this series yet but would love too!

    Thanks for the great giveaway!

  11. My favorite story is about Zarek and Astrid... I was a little bit disappointed from Acheron's Book - I think my expectations were to high... all in all a good book, but the icing on the cake missed...
    wish you all the best!

  12. I love the dark-hunters saga! My favourite book is The dark side of the moon.

  14. Acheron is by far my fav as well. I love all her books, but that one I will read over and over again.

  15. I read Sherilynn's Sins of the Night and loved it. I'm really excited about this new series. I haven't even heard of it yet.

  16. That seriously is a hard question.
I LOVE all of Sherrilyn Kenyon's books. I verly learn about them last year around August and I have all her books, well, except, Bad Moon Rising(even though I read it at the library :( and Born of Ice. I just had enough money to buy Born of Fire and Born of Night.
But I like all her series and her works in the anthology books and I just can't wait for the Chronicles of Nick and Dark Hunters Vol. 2. BUT even though I love her series Dark Hunters and the League I have to pick ACHERON, as my overall favorite is so sad and funny, and I have read it soo many times I almost practically know it by memory.

  17. I've read random Sherrilyn Kenyon books as my sister -adores- her books. She's pushing me to start the Dark Hunter series but first she has to find it in her massive bookcase, lol.

  22. I would be interested in reading something a little less "romancy" so The League series sounds like a good place to start.

  23. Oh thats easy I love her dark hunter series and my favorite book of hers is Bad Moon Rising. I just love Fang and Amy's story!!

  24. I first started reading the Dark-hunter books and so, it's Asheron for me in that series (the writing seemed to be better in that than most of her others), but I also enjoyed Dream Warrior for the Dream-hunters.

Oh, and I'd hate to not mention the manga--fun read.

  31. I liked Born of Night, but prefer the dark hunters series...for now.

Acheron was a bit of a slog though. Way too long and too much time spent on the horrors of his childhood.

My favorite's are Dark Hunters I still re-read them, but it is the Sherrilyn style of kick ass women in her books that make me buy them.

I am a fan of the dark hunter series...

Please enter me in the giveaway.

  34. I love Sherrilyn's Dark Hunters && I couldn't possibly pick a favorite...well okay maybe I could but I don't wanna =D

I do enjoy Night Play a lot because of Bride, she's a great heroine in the book!!

    Thanks Doug!
