Cover Art - "A Devil in the Details" by K.A. Stewart

K.A. Stewart posted this cover for A Devil in the Details, her debut urban fantasy novel due for release July 6, 2010. This blurb certainly reads like it may have broader appeal to a guy audience. Interesting.

Every lost soul needs a champion.

Jesse James Dawson was an ordinary guy (well, an ordinary guy with a black belt in karate), until the day he learned his brother had made a bargain with a demon. Jesse discovered there was only one way to save his brother: put up his own soul as collateral, and fight the demon to the death.

Jesse lived to free his brother—and became part of a loose organization of Champions who put their own souls on the line to help those who get in over their heads with demons. But now experienced Champions are losing battles at a much higher rate than usual. Someone has changed the game. And if Jesse can’t figure out the new rules, his next battle may be his last…

  1. Really nice! I love the light and shadows thing here.

  2. Great cover and great blurb. One to look out for.

  3. I like the leather coat with the sword. Nice contrast, and very manly.

  4. At first glance that guy kind of looks like Christian Slater to me.

  5. TJ nice to see a "guy" cover for a change

Carolyn I'm surprised they showed his eyes. They usually do the cut off thing so that you imagine what the hero looks like.

Sheila always interesting to see what debut authors can do with the genre.

    Mardel "very manly" YEP!

Lady_tink now that you point it out, I can see that...
