Reviewette – “Blood Feud” by Patti O'Shea

Anthology: The Mammoth Book of Vampire Romance 2
Story: 8 of 25
Pages: 21

Blood Feud is a satisfying tale blending a lovers reunion with action and intrigue. Set in contemporary times, Prince Seere, a demon, is paired with Isobel, a vampire, to hunt down a demon that is murdering vampires which threatens to destroy a centuries old peace pact between the two rival races. Seere and Isobel have history and their mission brings them together for the first time in several hundred years. Isobel had left Seere and never returned leaving the Prince with unanswered questions. Working together re-kindles their passion. Some excellent action scenes as they track and confront the murderer coupled with romance and a nice HEA ending. Bonus points for Isobel driving an Aston Martin DBS.

Mammoth Rating: 4.0 TUSKS (of 5)
