Martian Morning Over Sydney

A colleague from Australia posted this the other day on Twitter and I had meant to share so here it is now. Apparently they had a severe dust storm and this is what it looked like in Sydney when everyone rose in the morning. Guess we know what it looks like to visit Mars now. Thanks for the pic Linda!

  2. Sheila it would be a very strange experience waking up to look out your window and find that.

Dottie it makes the sky look lime it is on fire. Gives me the shivers.

  3. Oooh. Spooky pic! I live just north of Sydney, and ours wasn't quite as red as that but still nasty. What the photo can't show is the wind -- it was like the apocalypse out there. Creepy...

  6. Dave lat I read they were talking about Martian missions in the 2030's. Unless they can beam me there, I won't be going.
