Cover Art - "Love in the Time of Dragons" by Katie MacAlister
Katie MacAlister has posted the cover for Love in the Time of Dragons, the first book in her new Light Dragons series due for release May 4, 2010. Katie indicates the cover is preliminary especially as how they listed her name incorrectly (hint emphasis should be on the A). You can read a Q&A about the series on her blog.

Wow, nice um...tatoo. Do you have any tats SciFiGuy?
ReplyDeleteLOL Elie. You are the first person that has ever asked me that question. No I don`t. To be honest it is something I had never really considered. But I have to admit some of the ink portrayed for UF characters is pretty interesting.
ReplyDeleteThat dragon tattoo is a whole 'nother kind of awesome! It looks to realistic, love it. *whispers...it's also yummy*

ReplyDeleteSciFi I agree. That would actually be an interesting post, comparing the usage of "ink" in various books. MMarr and PC Cast jump out in my mind.
ReplyDeleteKatie MacAlister seems to be having a great run with her covers. Her cover for "Steamed" is just as amazing. Can't wait for this book either.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous cover!! LOVE IT!!
ReplyDeleteWow, that is just one cover that has me in a cover lovin haze :)What a find SciFiGuy...this just made my morning *wink*
ReplyDeleteAnd Donna, have to agree with you...the tat is yummy *grin*
Yet another book to add to my wish list. Definitely a nice tattoo. I normally like medieval style dragons more than Asian though.
ReplyDeleteVery nice! Great title. Great cover. I do hope they fix the lettering though.
ReplyDeleteThat is a lot of ink Donna but I suspect it isn't only the tattoo you're checking out :)
ReplyDeleteElie maybe we need to have an annual "best tattoo" cover contest.
Morning Glow the Steamed cover is a work of art. Love it.
Rachael I can tell it will be a favourite for many.
Damn Leontine maybe I should consider getting a tat :)
Daelith are you speaking of tattoos or of supernatural characters in books?
Sheila I am sure Katie has had her say.
Love the cover! I really like the tattoo and dragons seem to be popular lately.
ReplyDeleteDebbie and knowing how Katie's books work it won't be just any ordinary dragon tattoo :)
ReplyDeleteOoh, neat tatoo! The cover colors kind of remind me of another book... wish I could remember what!
ReplyDeleteLadytink even though it is not a guy on the cover the first thing it reminded me of was Iron Hunt by Marjorie Liu.
