Cover Art - Betrayals by Lili St. Crow

Tez Says has found a revised cover for Betrayals by Lili St. Crow, the second novel in the YA Strange Angels. Betrayals releases November 17, 2009. Compare the earlier cover to the newest. What do you think?
New Cover
Dru Anderson’s parents are long gone, her best friend is a werwulf, and she’s just learned that the blood flowing through her veins isn’t entirely human. (So what else is new?)

Now Dru is stuck at a secret New England Schola for other half-vampire teens like her, and there’s a big problem—she’s the only girl in the place. A school full of cute boys wouldn’t be so bad, but Dru’s killer instinct says that one of them wants her dead. And with all eyes on her, discovering a traitor within the Order could mean a lot more than social suicide.

When murderous vampires start showing up and the body count begins rising, Dru has to figure out who to trust and when to run–or tonight might be her last…
Earlier Cover

  1. The new cover is nice enough, if I weren't already sick of all the purple pervading UF/paranormal romance. I much prefer the older cover :(

  2. Like I told Tez, the new cover sucks. That's a puke color and what's up with the slightly moronic dudes standing in the background?

    Not impressed!

  3. Doug,

I think I like the original cover better. :)

  4. Hi Doug!

I like the color of the original better, but the background of the new cover lets the characters stand out better. I have to say the original looks nicer to me too.

I can't wait for this second book to be released.

    Dottie :)

  5. The older cover is better in every way!

  6. Interesting comments from all. I would wouldn't have thought they would all be in favour of the original. Art director are you listening?
