  3. This sounds like a good movie!! I'm with everyone else, I'd like a vampire movie with a vampire good guy. I'd never heard of it before. Thanks.

I hope everyone, where ever you may be are staying cool!!!It's 105 here in sunny south Texas, and we're drooping in the heat. Doug, we could sure use one of those cool Canadian fronts right about now!!

  5. That was filming in Australia a few years ago. In Queensland, I think.

  7. I saw this clip the other day - thought it looked awesome and a bit of a twist on the genre. Was also happy to see lots of aussie actors in there - I'd say it was filmed in Sydney, Australia.

  9. Monsterous vampires. Whoever would have thought? It looks intruiging - I hope it doesn't disappoint. The trailer makers score with the musical selection, too. I don't know who in Hollywood figured this out, but I equate trailer tunes with the movie for life. 'Watchmen'? 'The Beginning is the End is the Beginning'. Terminator Salvation - 'The Day the Whole World Went Away' and so on. It's a point aside, I know.

  10. Hi Donna I have high hopes for it with such a great cast.

I agree Michelle time for some new blood so to speak :)

Cybercliper well it has been in the high 70's here, kinda nice but not really particularly cool. Sorry no fresh arctic breezes available :)

Karen the concept is interesting, lets hope the execution is too.

Good to know Tez. I should have guessed with Sam Neill being in the cast.

Going to be one of those summers Dottie.

Tracey it seems like to be more than just an action flick which is good. According to IMDb it used these Aussie locations in Queensland (Brisbane, Gold Coast, Movieworld/Gold Coast, Riparian Plaza/Eagle Street/ Brisbane, Robina Train Station/ Robina, and Warner Roadshow Studios, Oxenford).

    Hawk, let's hope!

Wow pkwench I am so out of it with music these days. If you hadn't said what the music was I'd of had no clue. But your point about associating the tunes with the movie is well taken. I'd wager Hollywood is very careful to select just the right music to do exactly that.

  11. I have three versions of this song: the original by Kate Bush, a live version from Within Temptation, and the one they used here by Placebo. It's a good tune all around and certainly a good musical backdrop for a trailer.

  12. Doesn't look too bad. I love Sam Neill - loved seeing him as Damien in The Omen III. :-D
