You're right. It really is addicting. Although I didn't really like the whole Tara and Sam thing. Some of the things they've added I haven't liked. I read the first book, but I haven't read the others. Oh and Bill is more creepy than cute. Like when he says Sookie's name, it's so weird.
I've felt that way about a few of the differences from the books. Thankfully it is HBO and we are getting a decent interpretation - just imagine if it had been made for network TV. I have to say the Charlaine Harris series is one of my personal favourites. There's a new Sookie story in the new anthology Wolfsbane & Mistletoe.
waaaaah, haven't tracked any true blood down yet.
If you don't have HBO you can go here: http://allybox.com/watch/tv/true-blood.htmlThere isn't any sign up and they usually post new episodes on Monday.
And to Scifiguy...Ur right network TV would not have been a fit for this series. I haven't read the second book in the series yet. I'm a little worried about how she's going to pull off fairy blood and were-panthers.
I have been bemoaning my lack of HBO as I have really been wanting to see this show! Thanks for the link Grace, I know what I'll be doing for the next couple hours...
